Signup and start selling your photos with us in just minutes!
How does it work? • All you have to do is signup and upload your photos. We handle the rest.
How much does it cost? • Signing up and uploading your photos is Free. We handle all of the sales, promotion and customer support and take 50% commision from every photo you sell. That's double the rate paid by iStock and considerably more than Shutterstock. The average markup in a Retail Business is 30%, for your 50% we do all the promotion and paperwork. This leaves you free to take Photos and make even more money.
When do I get paid? • Your profit from the sales of your photos is paid to you once a month, minimum payout is only €20.
Can I sell my images on other Websites?
Absolutely, we do! Unlike other Microstock Sites we don't want to restrict your ability to make money. Many Sites only pay higher dividents if you are exclusive to them.
We don't sell Royalty Free here just "Licensed" images which allows the Buyer to use the image only once and for a low price. If the Buyer wants to use the image again, they have to pay again, fortunately for them the price is low so there is no reason to "Steal" the image. The Photographer makes more money in the long run because the image can be sold thousands of times even on other websites.
What we are looking for:
-
All files must be at least 6 MP to be able to offer Prints in all the sizes.
-
We can't sell "Snapshots", Buyers are looking for exceptional images.
-
Think "Stock" when submitting images, can you imagine that image being used in a Financial Report or a Flyer or a Brochure?
-
There are many Irish websites that specialize in "Irish Prints" with lovely pictures of Castles and the Irish Landscape but this is not "Stock Imagery". We would be happy to recommend those sites to you.
-
Do you know what "Purple Fringing" is? how about "Bokkeh"? Are there areas on the Histogram that are off the scale? When you looked the image on the Camera, were there areas that were Flashing because it was washed out or too dark? Has the image been sharpened in Camera or in Photoshop? Has the image had anything done other than removing "Sensor Spots" or Photoshop? If you answered yes to any of these questions then you should not submit the image to any "Professional" Stock website because it will be rejected.
-
There are many Websites that will accept any Image you submit, these are websites that don't make any money.
-
Our Philosophy is simple, "A Photography Website is only as good as the worst image on that site" If you find an image on this site that you think doesn't belong let us know.
Don't let any of this scare you off, we want to work with you and help you make money in Stock Photography. It's hard trying to figure out what the Stock Websites are looking for, we have a pretty good idea because we have sold images on all the top websites in the World. Remember that Photography is about Pictures and not about Equipment, if youre fanatical about equipment you should join a Camera Club, we're interested in Photos. So signup and start submitting.
